Kwak̓wala

Kwak̓wala is a Northern Wakashan language spoken mostly in British Columbia, Canada. There are about 350 speakers of Kwak̓wala and they refer to themselves as Kwakwaka’wakw, meaning “the people who speak the language Kwak̓wala”. There are four dialects of Kwak̓wala: Kwak̓wala, ’Nak̓wala, G̱uc̓ala and T̓łat̓łasik̓wala.
